The assessment recognises our commitment across key areas of sustainable hospitality, from responsible resource management and waste reduction to the protection of nature, biodiversity, and local community and culture. This Gold recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to responsible hospitality while preserving the natural beauty, culture, and character of Nusa Penida for generations to come.

Through this collaboration, Māua serves as a vital sanctuary for the Jalak (the iconic Bali Starling), an avian jewel brought back from the brink of extinction.
